I hv finished the book A Cabana and as I promissed here are my impressions:
. A CabanaYoung, William P. / Sextante
The youngest daughter of Mackenzie Allen Philip is kidnapped during a family vacations and there are some clear evidences that she was murdered and abandoned in a cabana in the forest.Four years later, Mack receives a suspicious message, apparently from God inviting him to go back to the cabana for the weekend. He goes back to that nightmare and what he founds there changes his life forever.
Its hard to make comments on this book. It involves a lot of reflexions, depends on our believes, the way we understand our life, our destiny, our aim in this world. However, despite what our religion is this book brings us a lot of nice messages and lessons of fraternity and love.

Why to construct a blog?
A blog give us our own voice on the web. It's a place to collect and share things that we find interesting, a personal diary or links to web site that we want to keep or to remember. It's a way to organise our own thoughts, it's even a way to organise our studies and our knowledge with special friends or with people that we have something in common.

English Poetry
Every man should be born again on the first day of January. Start with a fresh page. Take up one hole more in the bruckle if necessary, or let down one, according to circumstances; but on the first of January let every man gird himself once more, with his face to the front, and take no interest in the things that were and are past.
Hi dear fellows. Just finished the novel by Rosamunde Pilcher, Day of the Storm. Nice story.A girl in the search of her roots after her mother's death. Very sensitive and tender. I recommend. Last week I finished" The picture of Dorian Gray". It was in my planes to read this book before but for countless reasons only now I've had the opportunity. Here I am going to leave my impressions: Sincerely I found it a little macabre. Oscar Wild has the power to make us feel like we were in the scene interacting with characters. Thousands of thoughts are mentioned that makes us to reflect as if we could manage to help characters to decide theirs lives. The novel tells a story of a young man named Dorian Gray, the subject of a painting by artist Basil Hallward. Basil is greatly impressed by Dorian's physical beauty and becomes strongly infatuated with him, believing that his beauty is responsible for a new mode in his art. Talking in Basil's garden, Dorian meets Lord Henry Wotton, a friend of Basil's, and becomes enthralled by Lord Henry's world view. Espousing a new kind of hedonism, Lord Henry suggests that the only things worth pursuing in life are beauty and the fulfilment of the senses. Realizing that one day his beauty will fade, Dorian cries out, wishing that the portrait Basil has painted of him would age rather than himself. Dorian's wish is fulfilled, subsequently plunging him into a series of debauched acts. The portrait serves as a reminder of the effect each act has upon his soull, with each sin being displayed as a disfigurement of his form, or through a sign of aging.
Its very intrigrant and frightner, in my concept.
Now I've chosen another book "The Cabana". As soon as I finished it I'll leave my impressions. See you.

Happy New Year
To my family and beloved friends I wish a wonderful and blessed New Year.
Put your trust in God and rely on his help. In 2009 remember The Laughter, The Joy, The hard work and The tears. And as you reflect on the past year, also be thinking of the new year one to come. Cheers!
